MK has been working with seniors and older adults in the Houston community for over a decade. Her rewarding experience in hospice inspired her to create her own placement service, MKR Senior Health Strategist. This service assists seniors and their families through the process of selecting an appropriate assisted living or residential care facility by helping them to understand their options.Over the last 19 years, MK has gained significant knowledge and understanding of the community resources which has been incredibly valuable in the development of this directory. MKR answers many questions such as: “what is the difference between a skilled nursing facility and an assisted living facility” and “does insurance cover the cost?” The placement process can be so overwhelming, but MKR can help you out.
